Terms of Use
Last updated 31 August 2026. By using VideoSqueezer you agree to these terms.
VideoSqueezer is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies. These terms add to it and say the things specific to this app; where the two disagree, Apple's wins.
Purchases
The full version can be bought in two ways: a one-time purchase, which never renews, or a yearly subscription, renewing automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings ▸ Apple Account ▸ Subscriptions. Payment, tax and receipts are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
Refunds are Apple's to give, not ours. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Videos up to 60 seconds are free to compress, at every quality tier — the free tier is limited by length, not by quality. The purchase removes the length limit and adds two-pass encoding and custom bitrate targets. If a future version adds a paid feature, it is covered by the same purchase.
Your videos
Your videos are yours. The app claims no rights over anything you import, compress or export, and nothing you touch is uploaded anywhere. You are responsible for having the right to the material you compress.
What the app can and cannot get back
This app's purpose is to replace a video with a smaller one and then remove the original, so read this part. A video you picked from Files is kept in the app's own store for the period you chose, and you can put it back until that period ends. A video from your photo library is removed through iOS, which puts it in Recently Deleted for 30 days — that is iOS's window, not ours, and only you can restore from it. Once either period has passed, or if you delete the app, the original is gone and we cannot recover it. Nothing is ever deleted without you asking, and the app tells you what it is about to do; but the app is not a backup, and it is not a substitute for one. What is kept where is described in the privacy policy.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Video encoding depends on your device, your files and iOS itself, and no result is guaranteed. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost time or any other loss arising from using the app — which is the reason the paragraph above exists rather than being buried here.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the change arrives with a version of the app rather than quietly.
