Harbor Rush

Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026. Applies to the Harbor Rush app and this website.

No ads, no analytics, no cross-app tracking, no accounts. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no ad identifier and nothing to sign up for, so there is no App Tracking Transparency prompt — there is nothing to track. Nothing about how you play is sent to us, or to anyone else.

What stays on your device

Your game is yours. Specifically:

  • Which harbors you have finished, your best times and your scores
  • Which regions you have unlocked, and the local record of your purchases
  • Your settings — sound, haptics, colourblind glyphs, notifications

None of it is uploaded to us. Deleting the app deletes all of it; purchases come back with Restore Purchases, because Apple keeps that record, not us.

Purchases

Region unlocks and the World Pass are one-time purchases handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, your Apple Account or your name. The app asks Apple what you own and stores the answer on the device so that what you bought keeps working offline.

Purchases are Family Shareable. If someone in your family group shares one with you, Apple tells the app that you are entitled to it — and nothing about who that person is.

No analytics

The game sends no usage statistics at all — not which harbors you play, not how often, not your scores, not even an anonymous counter. There is no analytics service behind it, and no server of ours for it to report to. Apple's privacy label records this as “Data Not Collected”. What we know about the game is what Apple reports to every developer: downloads and sales, in aggregate, never tied to a person.

Duels

A duel challenge is a short code — a harbor number and a finish time, nothing else. It carries no name, no identifier and no device data, and it travels over whatever you choose to send it with: Messages, email, a chat app. It does not pass through a server of ours, because we do not run one.

Game Center

Leaderboards and achievements are optional and are Apple's. If you use them, your Game Center identity and your scores are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Turn Game Center off and the game plays exactly the same.

Children

The game is rated 9+ for infrequent, mild cartoon action — boats collide, and some harbors have pirates and a shore cannon. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. There is no chat, no user-generated content, no social feature, no web browser and no advertising.

Required-reason APIs

Apple requires apps to declare certain APIs and why they are used. Harbor Rush declares one: UserDefaults, under reason CA92.1 — storing your own settings on your own device. The declaration ships in the app as PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that reduced your privacy would come with a new version of the app, and would be described in that version's release notes.
