Terms of Use
Last updated 9 September 2026.
MorseHero is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies in full. The terms below add to it and describe how this particular app behaves.
Purchases
MorseHero Pro is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and nothing renews. It is not Family Shareable: it unlocks on the Apple Account that bought it, on every device signed in to that account.
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are Apple's to grant, through reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded, the app returns to the free state — the card in both directions and the first eight characters. Anything you earned while Pro was active is kept, not taken back, and returns with the purchase if you buy again.
MorseHero Pro is everything the app sells, in one purchase: the rest of the course beyond the first eight characters, every drill above single characters, the word-spacing ladder, and the report on how you send. There is nothing else to buy.
Text you bring in
You can paste in your own text to practise with. It stays on your device and is not uploaded anywhere. You are responsible for having the right to use anything you paste. MorseHero makes no claim of ownership over it and grants you no rights in anyone else's writing.
What the app sends
The practice material — the word lists, the callsigns, the shape of a contact — is ours. The tone is generated by the app as it plays rather than taken from a recording. Morse code itself is a public standard, and nothing here claims any right in it.
What the app does not do
It collects no data, shows no advertising, contains no chat or social feature, and makes no network request of its own. The microphone is measured for a tone and discarded, never recorded. See the privacy policy for the detail.
No warranty
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting any rights you have under Apple's Standard EULA or under mandatory consumer law in your country, no warranty is given that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Changes
These terms may change with a new version of the app. The date above changes with them, and a material change will be described in that version's release notes.
